Necklaces

So, I’m into necklaces this year. Pendants and necklaces are sold separately so you can mix and match and make your own signature look with each necklace. I always make a pair of earrings to match each necklace, and sometimes a bracelet and a ring, too. On these pages you will see those rings, earrings, and bracelets shown with the necklaces.

I do all my own beading, whether hand knotted or with tiger tail or foxtail. My choice of stringing technique depends on the bead types and sizes that are in the necklace.

Round 4mm Beads make an attractive and unique way to wear a pendant. The bead size fits most medium to large pendant bails.

Each necklace can have a toggle clasp, traditional lobster claw clasp, or my trademark “S” hook. The “S” hook allows you to add as many strands as you wish to your necklace, as well as mix and match colors.

Or, the clasp itself can become a pendant, or “Enhancer”

I will have as many variations in color schemes as I can find gemstones for this style of necklace for Spring this year.

The mix of stones comes from my effort at trying to “feel the power of the stone”, as someone once told me to try. I’m not sure about whether I felt the power, but I did come up with some styles that really make me feel good! The generous use of fresh water pearls is what make each piece stand out for me. I love pearls, though. Odd that I’m attracted to something that started out as an irritation. Maybe it’s just the “redemption” of the irritation that I like…
